outbuildings to existing cottages are converted to create a new residential unit beside 2 existing bath stone cottages (previous NSA project 2006).  The reconfigured buildings are two story at the rear, providing bedroom accommodation in two bedrooms and a bathroom in the stone vaults of the lower ground floor with a living room and kitchen dining room on the entrance level through an internal landscaped courtyard.   The bathstone base grounds the building, orders the existing cottages elevation and allow the new elevational treatments to respond attractively to the landscape setting by stepping up the hill in form and volume.
